Hi all, recently in the news you would have seen email scams from people pretending to be NZ post, and asking for $4 to deliver post. Example I received below.
I have highlighted areas which point out it’s a scam, look for these:
1) Look at the subject line, you can see it doesn’t look quite right, “TEST…..” should definitely not be in an email from NZ post.
2) Look at who you received it from, nzpostmailing@Autopilotmail2.io, that doesnt sound right, all emails from NZ post should end with @nzpost.co.nz.
3) Look at “To”, that isnt my email address, why is that there.
When you go to the link, it takes you to a page asking for your credit card information. Please don’t, save your money, dont give it to these scammers.
